The February meeting will be hosted by Evelyn Vose, former commercial migratory beekeeper, with many years of experience, discussing feeding bees and bee nutrition. This is a very important topic for this time of year, especially because of the unseasonably early warm weather that may cause the bees to deplete their food stores. Even a strong hive that went into the winter with plenty of stores may be running low. This will be a critical period for beekeepers, and it is expected that there will be many starved out hives before the nectar flow begins.

Thank you and hope to see you there;
