The NC Johnston County Beekeepers Association meets the third Monday of each month.  Social time begins at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7:00pm at;

Hands on Apiary Meeting

Our Goal is “Sustainable Beekeeping” Subject to Change Due to Weather (Rain & Temperature Limits)

  1. Please be prepared with veil, gloves, long pants and closed toe shoes. Light colored clothing preferred as the honey bees may be defensive with dark clothing.
  2. If you do not have protective equipment, please let us know beforehand send a message via contact us.

Join us the third Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Johnston County Agricultural Center in Smithfield. New to beekeeping? Arrive at 6:30 PM for our Bee Basics beginner class. No membership required. No experience needed. Just show up.
